Edging is used to separate materials and spaces in the landscape. The are many different types of edging materials ranging from concrete pavers, to railroad ties, brick, monkey grass, metal edging, to almost anything one can imagine. Typical uses for edges are to separate gravels from other materials, to keep grass in its place, to define a walkway or patio, and to hold in mulch in beds. All the edge materials shown in this section were designed and built by John Russell Landscape Architect Inc.
